Pursuant to Resolution No. 9/2026/II of the Senate of the Lublin University of Technology of 26 February 2026 on the principles of recruitment to the Lublin University of Technology Doctoral School in the academic year 2026/2027, (paragraph 4, point 5)
A candidate for the Doctoral School submits the following documents in Polish or English:
1) an application for admission to the Doctoral School, the template of which is attached as Appendix No. 1 (in Polish for Polish citizens) or Appendix No. 2 (in English for foreigners) to this Resolution;
2) printed and signed form from the ERK recruitment system (https://ehms.pollub.pl);
3) a personal questionnaire completed in accordance with the guidelines, constituting Appendix No. 3 (in Polish for Polish citizens) or Appendix No. 4 (in English for foreigners) to this Resolution;
4) a certified true copy of a diploma of completion of a uniform master's degree program or a second-cycle degree program, or an equivalent diploma obtained pursuant to separate provisions. If the diploma was issued in a language other than Polish or English, the candidate must attach a sworn translation thereof;
5) a certified true copy of the diploma supplement (if issued);
6) CV containing information on: a) completed studies, subject and results of work documenting the acquisition of appropriate qualifications, b) scientific interests in the selected scientific discipline, c) professional experience, d) scientific activity (scientific publications, participation in scientific projects, activity in scientific circles, participation in scientific conferences, etc.), e) other types of activity;
7) documents confirming demonstrated scientific and other types of activity, certified as true copies of the original by a notary public or by a person authorized by the rector, constituting appropriately numbered attachments to the personal questionnaire;
8) a medical certificate confirming the absence of health contraindications to undertake education at the Doctoral School and conduct scientific research in the appropriate discipline;
9) a statement by a researcher holding the title of professor or a postdoctoral degree, submitting a research topic for the recruitment process, of consent to the candidate writing a doctoral dissertation on the submitted research topic;
10) in the case of persons holding a doctoral degree or having an open doctoral procedure, a declaration that the research topic is not the same as the work previously prepared as part of doctoral studies or in extramural mode;
11) 2 photographs (4.5 cm x 6.5 cm) with a digital version (JPG, TIF, BMP, or PNG format), which should be uploaded to the ERK electronic recruitment system. The photograph must meet the requirements for issuing ID cards or passports in Poland (https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/zdjecie-do-dowodu-lub-paszportu);
12) additionally, in the case of foreigners, the following is required: a) confirmation of legal stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland, b) confirmation of health insurance;
13) documents must be prepared in Polish or English or translated into Polish or English by a sworn translator or equivalent in the country of issue;
14) a certificate confirming knowledge of English at a level of language proficiency not lower than B2 in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 30 July 2025 on the types of documents certifying knowledge of the language in which education is provided.
